The Friends Of Elizabeth Bridge Reserve are a like minded group of local people interested in maintaining and improving the look and facilities of what is one of the nicest Reserves in the Shire of Yarra Ranges. The Friends group ticked over 10 years in 2015. The Reserve is located in Durham Rd Kilsyth, 3137. (Melway Reference 51 J4). The total area of the Reserve is 6.85 ha. The Reserve incorporates a storm water retarding basin and wetlands integrated with the existing lake and park area. This provides a habitat for water birds including ducks and water hens, as well as long necked turtles. It also has a large playground area for younger children, plus a BBQ and picnic tables for the whole family, or for community groups.
